Bar Coaters

Bar coaters create drawdown samples for comparing inks, coatings, varnishes and adhesives on selected substrates. A coating bar is drawn across the sample to spread the liquid into a film, supporting visual evaluation and formulation work. The resulting film depends on the bar specification, liquid properties, substrate and application technique. These tools are useful for laboratory trials and controlled comparisons before production.
